Photography is interesting. It is fun to take pictures of things and share your vision with people around the world. It is also fun to learn how to improve your skills and find new ways to do things. And it is frustrating when you get home and realize that your pictures didn’t turn out the way you had wanted.
But I think the best thing about photography is that it makes you more observant. You constantly look for new stories and viewpoints…
Here are two pictures I took at Shinjuku Station today. i got one by looking up, and one by looking down.
Looking up
Looking down
I am not claiming that these photos are particularly great; they are just a couple of quick shots I took before i got on the train. But they offer a unique view of a moment in time that I experienced. I can share them with you because I had a camera in my hands. But regardless of whether or not I am holding a camera, I try to find the beauty and magic in everyday things. Everywhere I look, I see countless stories, just waiting to be told.
Everyone in the world has a unique viewpoint and his or her own unique way of interacting with the world. How about you? How many stories do you see? What do you see…?
