I love the fact that you visit The Wayfarer Blog. There is nothing more rewarding than to reaching out to my readers, wherever you are, and knowing that you are enjoying the pictures and articles I post. But I’d like to call your attention to a couple of convenient subscription options that you might find helpful if you don’t always have time to visit this site.
By subscribing to a blog, you are asking to be updated automatically, whenever a new post is published. You can still visit the site whenever you want, but you won’t have to actually go to the site to see if there is a new post, because you will already know. There are two ways you can do this.
The first option, RSS, is far superior in my opinion. (See the green box in the picture below.) I will be posting a two-part series on what RSS is, and how it can help you save time and energy on the internet soon. But for now, I’d like to talk about the second option: email subscriptions.
If you look to the right, at the top of the sidebar, you’ll see a box that says, “Subscribe via Email.” (See the red box in the picture below.) If you enter your email address in the yellow box, you will receive an email with the complete text of every entry I publish. It’s quick and easy, and it comes right to your inbox.

If you subscribe to email updates, you will receive one email per day, with all the posts for the previous day. If I post more than once in a day, all of the posts will be included in one message. If I don’t post anything for that day, you won’t receive an email. Unfortunately, I can’t change the time or frequency of the updates.
Email updates are good because everyone understands email, and it is a simple way to subscribe. However, If you would like to receive updates instantly, or if you find yourself visiting more and more blogs and news sites, you might consider the RSS option. Many sites do not offer an email option at all (I actually just recently added this option to this blog), but almost all blogs and news sites offer RSS feeds. I think that RSS feeds will become an increasingly popular way to distribute and manage content in the future. As I mentioned, I will be writing about that soon.
If you would like to receive updates when this blog is updated, either in your email inbox or in an RSS reader, please feel free to make use of these services. They are offered here for your convenience.
I enjoy sharing my ideas, pictures, and interests with the readers of this blog. No matter how you visit this site, I would like to thank you for sharing part of my journey with me.
