Thanks, Cat. And sorry for the late reply, but I know what you are saying. It sounds like you are doing well, and believe me, I am the expert on getting sidetracked and having to rediscover things about myself. I do remember how important art and music were to you, and I am glad that you are finding ways to reincorporate them into your life. Hopefully, now you can approach those things from a new and more experienced perspective–and share them with your kids.

That is so true…I got married and had the three kids. Who I love with all my heart, but I think I never really had that purpose and drive that you had. I have coasted by on the fact that I’m intelligent and can do anything. I have the confidence, but I forgot what truly was “mine” not my kids, not my friends, but “mine”. Mine is art. I recently started painting and drawing. It’s mine. It may not be stellar, however technically I am a professional artist since I’ve sold paintings. Maybe a future career move? Who knows. LOL I understand the babble. That’s exactly how I talk when I’m writing blogs.

I’m proud of you for “knowing what you want” and going for it. I got sidetracked for awhile but I think I’m getting back on the right track myself.

Well this is almost as weird as Christmas in Houston. Imagine Christmas in a place that still looks and feels like summer. Palm trees, burning UV sun, etc. ho ho ho
